Fine Art Paper
Matte finish: Printed on the industry standard Hahnemühle Photo Rag® 308g paper. It is one of the world’s most popular papers and the valued all-rounder for high-quality FineArt inkjet printing. The white cotton artist’s paper, with its characteristic, wonderfully soft feel, boasts a lightly defined felt structure, lending each artwork a three-dimensional appearance and impressive pictorial depth. Combined with the matt premium inkjet coating, this paper produces outstanding prints that feature brilliant colours, deep blacks, striking contrasts and perfect reproduction of detail. This acid- and lignin-free classic meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance and is specially designed for FineArt applications.
Glossy finish: Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Baryta 315g is a pure cotton paper with an inkjet coating that has been perfectly optimised for the needs of FineArt applications. The natural white paper comes in a pleasant, warm shade of white and contains no optical brighteners. The exquisite surface texture gives the paper a lovely, delicate feel while at the same time lending it an artistic note. In combination with the high-gloss premium inkjet coating, it produces stunning print results with outstanding reproduction of colour and detail, deep blacks and perfect contrasts. The barium sulphate in the coating makes Photo Rag® Baryta a popular alternative to analogue baryta paper. The combination of the cotton artist paper and the high-gloss inkjet coating lends FineArt prints a striking character with a beautiful, elegant sheen, without glare. Photo Rag® Baryta is acid- and lignin-free and meets the most exacting requirements in terms of age resistance.
Eco friendly finish: Hahnemühle Hemp® 290g relies on one of the oldest and most versatile natural fibers in the world and consists of 60% hemp fibers. The base of the FineArt Inkjet Paper is convincing in terms of color with a light white natural tone and, thanks to the light white hemp fibers, does not require optical brighteners. The slightly textured surface gives the paper a pleasantly velvety soft feel. In combination with the matt premium inkjet coating, a versatile FineArt inkjet paper is created. Colors and details are reproduced brilliantly, black impresses with its depth and contrasts are reproduced excellently. The acid-free and lignin-free FineArt Inkjet paper meets the highest requirements for resistance to aging.
Alu-Dibond
Suitable for large-format artworks, this contemporary and elegant finish enables a direct view of the artwork. The print (on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® 308g (matte finish) or on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Baryta 315g (glossy finish) paper) is protected from external influences by a Protective Spray. The aerosol spray lays like a fine film on the paper, without changing the paper structure. It fixes colours of pigment-and dye ink and prevents an eventual colour fading also the intensity and the high brilliance of the colours stay permanently. The coating increases the abrasion resistance of Fine Art papers, so the risk of fingerprint marks and scratches are reduced. It is mounted onto Dibond©, which is a composite aluminium plate. This thin, light material is made up of two layers of aluminium around a polyethylene core, with a total width of 3mm. It is the most suitable format for conserving a very large photograph perfectly flat over time. A rectangular frame wide located at the back of the plate rigidifies the structure and allows the photograph to be hung at a slight distance from the wall.
Acrylic Glass
Suitable for large-format artworks, Acrylic Glass is used to heighten the colours of the photograph. This finish complements the 3mm aluminium mounting and consists of a 2mm plate of Acrylic Glass directly laid over the photograph (printed on Tecco High Gloss 260g paper). It adheres through a reaction between two liquid components, without the need for glue. The print is thus perfectly protected and gains in depth. The sheen and intensity of the colours are also reinforced. Available in glossy or matte finish. A rectangular frame wide located at the back of the plate rigidifies the structure and allows the photograph to be hung at a slight distance from the wall.
Floater Frame
Thanks to a small gap between the frame and the edges of your image, the picture appears to float inside the frame. This contemporary frame is both elegant and subtle. The colours available are black, white and silver. The floater frames are made out of solid wood. 0.5 centimetre space is left on all sides between the frame and the photo.
